A Winning Night for Our School!

Mrs. Alarcon Teacher for a Day

A great time was had by all at this year’s Casino Night, where the spirit of fun and fellowship was matched only by the incredible support for our beloved school. From the first roll of the dice to the final hand of blackjack, the energy in the room was electric!

And speaking of bells and whistles, our DJ and emcee couldn’t help but comment that our very own Principal, Mr. Andersen, and Associate Pastor, Fr. Paul, took the Paddle Raise to a whole new level—making it as close to a contact sport as anyone had ever seen! Their enthusiasm was contagious and set the stage for a night filled with laughter, generosity and community spirit. A favorite Silent Auction prize each year is Teacher for a Day, and students recently stepped into their faculty roles. Pictured is Mrs. Alarcon with her replacement for a day, Mr. Crawford.

The evening’s tone was beautifully set by Robyn Axberg, our School Board President, who reminded us that in today’s world where so much focus is placed on pronouns, the ones that truly define our school community are us and we. Here at Queen of the Rosary School, Catholic education is not merely a contract where tuition is exchanged for an education. It is a true partnership, where parents are respected as the primary educators of their children, and the value each family receives is a reflection of what they put into this vibrant and faith-filled community.

A special thanks to this year’s event chairs, Laurie Oddo and Dana Arciniegas, and thank you to all who attended, supported and volunteered to make this event such a resounding success. Your generosity and dedication continue to make our school a place where faith, learning and community thrive.
