Every student shines at Queen of the Rosary School! With access to tutoring, mentoring and individualized instruction, each child is encouraged to go at their own pace to reach their fullest potential. For students ready for a challenge, they are able to take High School-level courses at St. Viator High School. Every Cougar has the support and opportunities to achieve their personal learning goals!
Social/Emotional Learning (SEL)
Through the Friendzy character development program, students learn to build a positive, connected community where everyone belongs! Through fun, hands-on lessons, students develop five key skills—self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision-making, social awareness and relationship-building. Each unit has a catchy phrase to help our students connect and grow together. And at the heart of it all is our motto: We Need Each Other! Students are helping to create a school that’s stronger, kinder and more united every day.
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
By following a PBIS framework to recognize and celebrate positive behaviors, students develop strong habits that foster respect, responsibility and kindness. Students feel valued, encouraged and empowered to succeed—spiritually, academically and personally!
Buddies
Our Queen of the Rosary School Buddies program is all about building confidence, friendships and leadership! Younger students are paired with older Buddies who help them navigate new experiences and transitions, while the older students learn responsibility and what it means to be a positive role model. It’s a win-win, where both big and little Buddies grow in social and emotional skills, creating a close-knit community that supports each other every step of the way!
