Queen of the Rosary School offers preschool for children ages 3 and 4 in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, with full-day, half-day, and flexible PreK options designed to meet the needs of today’s families.

Here, our littlest learners take their first big steps in a warm, faith-filled environment where they are known, loved, and encouraged to grow. Through engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences, children are introduced to school life, build friendships, grow in confidence, and discover the joy of learning. With experienced teachers, small class sizes, and a nurturing community surrounding them, PreK at Queen of the Rosary is a special place to begin their school journey.

Early Learning Foundations

Our PreK curriculum builds a strong foundation for Kindergarten while keeping learning joyful, active, and age-appropriate. Students develop early literacy and phonemic awareness skills through Heggerty, along with hands-on learning, small-group instruction, classroom stations, creative play, and exploration.

We believe young children learn best by doing, creating, moving, and connecting with others, which is why screen time is kept to a minimum and technology is introduced only in meaningful, purposeful ways. PreK students also enjoy Music, Physical Education, Art, faith formation, and plenty of opportunities to build independence, confidence, and social skills throughout their day.

Faith-Filled Beginning

Faith is part of every day through prayer, religion lessons, and school Mass celebrations. Students grow in their understanding of God’s love while learning and building strong early foundations.
