Mr. Andersen joined QR School in 2024 and brings nearly two decades of experience in education, including both public and Catholic schools. He holds degrees in History and English, Secondary Education, and Educational Leadership, and is a product of Catholic education. He values the strong sense of community at QR and is committed to helping every student feel known, supported, and inspired to grow.

Mrs. Bowman joined QR School in 2017. She holds a Master of Science in Communication from Northwestern University and is a proud parent of two QR graduates. She loves connecting with students and families and sharing her joy for the QR community. In her free time, she enjoys swimming.

Mrs. Jagielko joined QR School staff in 2024 and began her current role in 2025. With a background in marketing and communications and as a parent of two legacy students, she is passionate about growing the QR community and sharing what makes it so special.

Miss Arizmendi joined QR School in 2023 and brings a background in nursing and music to her work with students. A graduate of Marquette University, she is a singer-songwriter who also gives music lessons outside of school. She loves being part of a kind and supportive community and sharing her creativity with her students.

Miss Petric joined QR School in 2025 as her first teaching position. A proud QR alumna who attended from preschool through 8th grade, she loves being part of a supportive and trusting community. She especially enjoys sharing the Catholic faith with her students.

Mrs. Mayer joined QR School in 2025 and previously taught in the Park Ridge School District. She holds a degree in Elementary Education. As a proud QR parent of three PreK alumni, she has been actively involved in the school community, including creating and running the Cougar Cubs program, and loves the strong sense of family that makes QR so special.

Mrs. Viscariello joined QR School in 2025 as a kindergarten aide. As a current parent and school board member, she is proud to be part of the QR community. She loves the sense of belonging at QR and believes it is the staff and students who truly make it feel like home. Paws up!

Mrs. Ellefson joined QR School in 2010 and currently teaches PreK 4-year-olds. She holds a degree in education from Loyola University and has experience teaching early elementary before moving into PreK. She loves the singing, painting, creating, and joy that fill her classroom each day and especially enjoys watching her students discover the world around them.

Mrs. Cruse joined our staff in 2010 and brings a background in nursing to her work with students. A proud alumna and parent of six QR graduates, she is passionate about Catholic education and sharing her faith with her students. She loves watching her students grow and succeed within the QR community.

Mrs. Luczywek joined QR School in 2021 and brings a passion for early childhood education and a heart for working with young learners. She holds a degree in early childhood education with endorsements in ESL, bilingual education in Polish, and Pre-K special education. She loves building strong relationships with her students and families and guiding children as they grow in confidence and prepare for the next steps in their learning.

Ms. Petric joined QR School in 1994 and brings over three decades of experience in early childhood education. A proud parent of three QR graduates, she holds a degree in science with an early childhood endorsement. She loves the lasting relationships she has built with students, families, and staff over the years.

Mrs. Wierig joined QR School in 2019 and brings experience teaching across multiple grade levels and subject areas. She holds a degree in Elementary Education and a master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, with additional coursework in gifted education and social-emotional learning. As both a teacher and parent at QR, she values the strong sense of community and the lasting relationships built among students, families, and staff.

Mrs. Ullman joined QR School in 2019 after previously serving as a fourth grade aide. A proud QR alumna, she graduated from St. Norbert College and returned to QR as her first teaching position. She loves building relationships with her students and families and looks forward to creating new memories each year.

Mrs. Maldonado joined QR School in 2013 and has taught 1st and 5th grade before moving into our Jr. High. She loves helping students grow in both academic excellence and their faith.

Mr. McDonough joined QR School in 2000 and brings over two decades of experience in education. He holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education from Loyola University. He values the strong sense of community within the school and parish and the collaborative environment among staff.

Ms. Garr joined QR School in 2021. She holds a degree in English Literature from the University of Illinois, studied abroad at University College London, and is currently pursuing her master’s in Middle Grades Education. She loves connecting with her students and supporting their growth.

Ms. Messina joined QR School in 2019 after leading an after-school dance program for several years. She now works in the library, where she loves helping students discover the joys of reading. With both her daughter and granddaughter part of the QR staff, she values the family atmosphere that makes QR so special.

Mrs. Massey joined QR School in 1989 and brings over three decades of experience in education. Even after retiring from the classroom, she continues to support students as a tutor and aide. She holds a degree in secondary education with a background in history and English and is a proud grandmother of two QR alumni. She is honored to be part of a faith-filled, family-oriented community where everyone cares and every student matters.

Ms. Jones joined QR School in 2019 as a classroom aide and diabetic caregiver and now serves as the office Administrative Assistant. A proud QR parent, her daughters have been part of the school community since preschool. She enjoys connecting with families and supporting the welcoming, caring environment at QR.
